It is a tumbling blocks that has 9 blocks of dark fabrics, 9 blocks of medium fabrics and 9 blocks of light fabrics grouped together to make each large block. A real interesting grouping of many fabrics are used to create each of the sides of the blocks. It was pieced by an Amish woman and quilted using 8 hand stitches per inch. A nicely arranged design.
