This traditional pattern is steeped in history, named after General John Burgoyne. It has been popular since the 19th century.
This large queen-size can also be used as a King-size if turned sideways. Beautifully marbled white and beige background with a striking marbled red and very extensively quilted with 8 even stitches per inch.
Dolores pieced the top and an Amish friend did the quilting. A masterpiece!
The back is covered with a soft-white 100% cotton
muslin. Signed and dated in embroidery by Dolores.
