This blue and white nine-patch baby quilt is made with solid blue, blue dot, and white patches, with white-on-white blocks quilted with vintage baby toy motifs for the quilting.  The backing is the same white fabric as in the blocks.   
The quilt measures 35 inches wide by 47 inches long.

    ‘Antique Roses’ is a two-color quilt. The roses are a vintage print on a red background, and I used a tan fabric on the “light side” pathway of the quilt.   All the roses, leaves and vines are  quilted in burgundy thread.  The back of the quilt is a traditional cream color muslin.   The length of the quilt can be folded up over the pillows,  and the roses are quilted across it,  as well as at the bottom border, finished with diagonal quilted lines.    The quilt  measures 96 inches wide and 106 inches long.   (the bottom border is folded up over the footboard to show the quilting).
