Amish Postage Stamp Quilt
$1,470Brilliant! With over 10,000 patchwork pieces and dozens of different colored fabrics this is one very special Amish quilt. The patchwork pieces are tiny -- smaller than a standard US postage stamp! This quilt was made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman. The quilt is symmetrical and may be used sideways on a king size bed. -
The Center Diamond is one of the oldest Amish quilt designs. This quilt with its navy border, red diamond, purple fill, and green sash uses the classic Amish color scheme. Thin batting and abundant quilting give it both the look and feel of an antique quilt. Made in a local Amish home by an Amish woman who incorporated her initials in the quilting in the lower left corner of the quilt.

Bright lively quilt with especially fine quilting. Classic center diamond design made here by the Amish for over 300 years. Note that this quilt is square (as are most antique center diamond quilts) and will require pillow shams when used on a bed. The sashes are bright golden yellow, the diamond Burgundy,the fill surround the diamond and corner blocks palm green, and the border is black. The fill surrounding the diamond is Navy (with lots of quilting). The sash is forest green, and the border purple. The corner squares are black.
