More, nicer and much finer quilting than ordinarily seen on a Dahlia quilt. The border treatment is called Cones. Made by local Amish woman who has placed her initials in ink on the back of the quilt.

Excellent applique work complemented with nicely executed patchwork. Note the abundance of quilting in the center. Made by a Lancaster Amish woman.
  • An exceptional Lone Star with three times as many pieces in its patchwork as a standard Lone Star. Note the beautiful Sweetheart Applique on its pillow-fold. Take a close look at the sash and the abundance of quilting surrounding the star. Background fabric is pure white. Signed in ink, on its backside, by its local Amish maker.
  • Wow! Look at the fabrics selected for this stunning quilt. Note the finer than usual patchwork pieces as well as the care taken in assembling the patchwork. Lots of nice quilting in the open space surrounding the star. The applique work on the pillow fold is also excellent. Singed and dated by its maker.
