Lots of nice quilting in the open space surrounding the star. The appliqué work on the pillow fold is also excellent. Singed and dated by its maker.

Sterling! This large star gave the quilt's designer space to use a big palette of colorful fabrics. With its small patchwork pieces and seventeen different fabrics, this quilt is about as 'good as it gets'. The piecework is very precise, and applique work on the pillow fold is outstanding. The quiltt-work surrounding the star is very nice indeed. Signed and dated by its maker.
