Be sure to notice the special appliqued borders. Hand quilting features 8 stitches per inch. Well made by an Amish woman in her Lancaster County, Pennsylvania home who also signed and dated it.

The back of the quilt is covered with a solid off white 100% cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.

  • WOW! This terrific quilt creates an explosion producing a starburst effect. Love the color combination, it really gives the quilt dimension! Beautiful patchwork squares border on top and bottom of quilt. Precise piecing and exceptionally fine quilting. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman. Symmetrical so it can also be used on a king size bed, and the patchwork squares would be on the sides instead of top and bottom.
