What a traditional, cozy quilt! A really GREAT collection of fabrics in bright cheerful colors, with a light green sash and darker green border that ties it all together. LOTS of 2″ squares. Very well pieced and hand quilted. Made by an Amish woman in her Lancaster County, Pennsylvania home who signed and dated the back corner. This type of quilt never goes out of style! Symmetrical so can also be used on a king-size bed.

The back of the quilt is covered with an off white 100% cotton  print. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.

This quilt is unique in that it was made from the unused leftover dress fabrics of a Mennonite family with 8 children! Great patchwork piecing and lovely fabric selections. Pieced and quilted here in Lancaster by an Amish woman. This quilt has extra fine tiny stitches and is highlighted with the stars on all the borders and pillow top.

    The back of the quilt is covered with a tone on tone solid 100% cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.
