A quiet bright quilt with the “Basket” block pattern first used by the Amish here in the 1930’s. Note how effectively the printed fabric is used in the patchwork. On first glance, one gets the impression many printed fabrics have been used! The piecing is well done and the stitching is very good. Note also how the pillow fold has been incorporated into the design. It is signed and dated by its maker on r=the quilt back with embroidery!
