Soft and cheerful pastel fabrics make this quilt a beautiful  combination of the classic Trip Around the World design, with the Lone Star. This quilt is unique in that it was made from the unused leftover dress fabrics of a Mennonite family with 8 children! Great patchwork piecing and lovely fabric selections. Pieced and quilted here in Lancaster by an Amish woman. This quilt has extra fine tiny stitches and is highlighted with the stars on all the borders and pillow top.

The back of the quilt is covered with a tone on tone solid 100% cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.
