Sharp traditional Classic Amish quilt design! The star stands out brilliantly against the plum surrounding, and the quilting is in navy so it really looks amazing. The sash is dark green and the border is navy with dark red corner squares. Note the extra stars on the pillow fold. Made with thin batting and all-cotton fabric to give look and feel of an antique quilt. Well made by local Amish woman in her home.

The back of the quilt is covered with a navy 100% cotton solid fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.

  • Wow! Bargello quilts are both hard to design and to make. This is one of the best we have seen! The fabrics are truly terrific, several have the look of hieroglyphics. Bright, but muted, with a charcoal border and brick sash. Very well made!
  • Sharp! Excellent coloring, this is a great rendition of classic log cabin design with the variation of 12 stars in the middle. This quilt has very fine piecing and quilting. Classic coloring of black, white and gold, with some metallic gold in the border. Great combination of fabrics! Well made by an Amish woman in her Lancaster County, Pennsylvania home.
  • Outstanding collection of pastel fabrics! Great, but hard to find design. Truly a delight. Made by one of Hannah's favorite quilters.
