A rich, VIVID eye-catching, radiating Lone Star pattern! Note the fine piecing and quilting. Deep purple and black gold-lined fabrics are used in the star and also sashing. The pillow tuck has 4 beautiful smaller stars. Both the patchwork piecing and quilting were VERY well done by a Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Amish woman.

The back of the quilt is covered with a solid off white 100% cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.
