A rich, VIVID eye-catching, radiating Lone Star pattern! Note the fine piecing and quilting. Deep red and blue fabrics are used in the star and the sash is a beautiful floral print. The pillow tuck is a beautiful Country Bride applique! Both the patchwork piecing and quilting were VERY well done by a Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Amish woman who signed and dated the back corner of the quilt.

The back of the quilt is covered with a solid off white 100% cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.
