Look closely at all the hand embroidered pine needles tucked behind holly and berries in the wreath.  Ribbon star blocks surround the wreath along with corner poinsettia and pinecone blocks.  A checkerboard inner border highlights the center wreath design.  The border fabric echos the motifs in the quilt set on a black background making this an elegant quilt to be enjoyed all winter long.
