The wool sheep are appliqu\u00e9d onto the background using the button hole stitch which is all done by hand. The graceful willow tree in the center block has been created using lots of hand embroidery stitches as a sheep stands underneath holding a sweet little heart.  Fabric prints were carefully selected and include stripes and small florals.
