Hand appliqu\u00e9 hollyhocks, flowers, a goldfinch and pumpkins are surrounded with blocks that include the friendship star, pinwheel, Ohio star and churn dash pattern to name a few. Half square triangles and hourglass blocks add to its charm as well.  The border fabric features little flowers in fall colors on a brown background.
