A 9-patch block has been used for its simplicity against the star blocks and you can tell by looking at the star points that Karel took her time to make sure each one was pieced accurately.The addition of circular quilting in the center of the 9-patches helps to soften the pattern. The floral border fabric set against a warm brown background completes the look.
