The Dresden plates are machine pieced and then hand appliqu\u00e9d to the background squares. They are \u00a0then framed by Karel&#8217;s signature triple border and corner squares. Cross-hatching has been hand-quilted on the set-in triangles to create a beautiful diamond design.
