Karel designed this quilt a number of years ago and it is one of her all time favorite patterns.\u00a0 Winding trumpet flowers and vines are surrounded by log cabin blocks with primitive stars in each corner. \u00a0Multi colored fabrics have been used for a “scrappy” effect adding to the primitive look. \u00a0 The hand-quilting and applique are exquisite on this charming small quilt.<\/p>\n

Here is one of Karel’s classic original designs, the trumpet flower, \u00a0and it has always been a customer favorite. \u00a0Winding trumpet flowers, vines and leaves are surrounded by 5 1\/2″ log cabin blocks and primitive stars in each of the 4 corners. \u00a0Multi colored fabrics have been used in warm, country colors that give it a “scrappy” look as well. \u00a0Karel is known for incorporating many different fabric prints in her designs along with hand quilting and appliqu\u00e9 that are expertly done.<\/p>\n
