You can almost smell the ocean air and feel the sand beneath your feet when you look at this quilt! The quilt’s fabrics were chosen and neatly pieced by Pennsylvania Mennonite quilt designer, Connie Lapp. The hand quilting was nicely done by a Mennonite friend. The back of the quilt is covered with the same white fabric as used on the front. A very special gift idea for a sweet new baby, or a wall hanging for someone special of any age. (The color placement will vary slightly in each quilt.)

The Irish Chain is a classic quilt that is a favorite of mine. The colors of this quilt remind me of all the lovely colors at the seashore. I can almost smell the sea air! The white fabric is a solid white. The back of the quilt is covered with a coordinating subtle print fabric. The quilt top was pieced by me, Connie Lapp, and hand quilted beautifully by a Mennonite friend. The quilt could be used as a throw, wall hanging, or crib quilt. A great gift idea for someone special!

The quilt pictured is sold but a quilt with nearly identical fabrics is available. The white fabric on the front and back of the quilt is a solid ivory. Well made by Lancaster County, PA young Mennonite quilt designer Connie Lapp and hand quilted by her mother. A size that can be used as a crib quilt, wall hanging or throw.
