Hannah’s Quilts

Hannah’s Quilts are chosen for their extraordinary beauty and quality. They are made individually from concept to completion by Amish and Mennonite women. You will find a wide variety of patterns and colors. Each quilt is a one of a kind masterpiece and never mass produced. Most of the quilts originate from the farmhouse quilt store of Hannah Zook. Hannah enjoys the challenge of making custom order quilts, as well as traditional patterns that are well loved by collectors and quilt lovers all over the world!  Hannah’s Quilts are well known and loved for the high quality of workmanship and fine stitches to those that are privileged to have her beautifully designed heirloom quilts.

  • A rich, VIVID eye-catching, radiating Lone Star pattern! Note the fine piecing and quilting. Deep purple and black gold-lined fabrics are used in the star and also sashing. The pillow tuck has 4 beautiful smaller stars. Both the patchwork piecing and quilting were VERY well done by a Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Amish woman. The back of the quilt is covered with a solid off white 100% cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.
  • A delightful collection of cross-stitched bluebirds and flowers! Cross Stitch quilts have a softness that can not be matched with printed fabrics. Makes you feel like you're watching bluebirds flittering around the dainty flowers. Excellent cross stitching that is precise and uniform. A soft blue border brings the quilt all together, and a dainty pillow throw tops off the quilt beautifully.  Many hours of hand-embroidered work was put into this quilt!!   • A very SOFT, pastel, charming country style quilt with a lovely collection of fabric prints! The simple light green colored country border brings the quilt together.   • Terrific! A great combination of the Center Diamond and the Sunshine and Shadow designs. The quilting is in navy and the tiny stitches show VERY well. Will brighten your bedroom and your spirits! Wonderful traditional Amish colors. The fabric surrounding the diamond is plum (with lots of quilting). The sash is green, and the border navy, corners are dark red. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman who quilted her initials on the bottom corner. The back of the quilt is covered with a navy 100% cotton solid fabric. There is some fading on the back of the quilt, so we reduced the price, it's not noticable at all from the front. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.

The star pattern is of the oldest and most familiar of all the traditional quilt patterns, but great precision is needed to make all the star points meet and lie flat!  Four miniature stars adorn the pillow top.
