WOW! A distinctive water-color style quilt. This patchwork will look great in contemporary as well country-style homes. More complicated than it first looks, count the pieces in the patchwork! And look at all the different fabrics that are employed. Both the piecework and hand quilting are VERY well done. Made by an Amish woman in her Lancaster County, Pennsylvania home.

The back of the quilt is covered with a gray and black floral print 100% cotton fabric.  The quilting density is very good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.

Beautiful patchwork squares border on top and bottom of quilt. Precise piecing and exceptionally fine quilting. Made here in Lancaster by an Amish woman. Symmetrical so it can also be used on a king size bed, and the patchwork squares would be on the sides instead of top and bottom.
