This Winner’s Circle quilt is striking in the blue print and solid white fabrics.   The quilting motif is quite full in the center of the blocks, with leaves and a central flower.  The border is quilted in diagonal lines.  It is a very unique quilt pattern, one you’d not find very often.

It measures 90 inches square.

    This sweet as can be applique quilt is made from a vintage quilt pattern, and vintage fabric is used in the quilt top, that includes stacked hearts, tulips, birds and vines. There is a bit of hand embroidery on the vines, and the applique is hand turned.
    The setting squares are quilted in a circular grid that has the stacked hearts around as the quilting motif.
    The side borders and bottom of the quilt are quilted in the stacked hearts motif and straight line quilting.
    The backing is traditional cream color premium muslin, and the binding is dusty rose color fabric.
    The quilting is exceptional with very tiny stitches.
    The quilt measures 95 inches wide and is 110 inches long.

    ‘Antique Roses’ is a two-color quilt. The roses are a vintage print on a red background, and I used a tan fabric on the “light side” pathway of the quilt.   All the roses, leaves and vines are  quilted in burgundy thread.  The back of the quilt is a traditional cream color muslin.   The length of the quilt can be folded up over the pillows,  and the roses are quilted across it,  as well as at the bottom border, finished with diagonal quilted lines.    The quilt  measures 96 inches wide and 106 inches long.   (the bottom border is folded up over the footboard to show the quilting).
