A vivid eye-catching Lone Star pattern! Note the fine piecing and quilting. The pillow tuck is a beautiful applique. Both the patchwork piecing and quilting were well done by the Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Amish woman who made it, signed and dated it. The back of the quilt is covered with a solid off white 100% cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.
