Charming! Beautiful traditional Pineapple patchwork pattern, one of the most recognizable and iconically "Americana" styles of quilt patterns. Believed to have emerged in the mid-1800's during Lincoln's presidential campaign, the pineapple quilt is a symbol of hospitality. Excellent patchwork piecing and fine quilting. Made by an Amish lady in her Lancaster farm house. The back of the quilt is covered with a 100% cotton leafy tan print fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.

Supreme Variable Stars Quilt
$1,295Stellar collection of stars! Wonderful color combination of soft pastel colors, along with a patchwork border that frames the quilt beautifully. The solid black background makes you feel like you're looking at the night sky! Excellent patchwork piecing and VERY fine quilting. Very well made by a local Amish woman in her Lancaster County Pennsylvania home. The back of the quilt is covered with a solid black 100% cotton fabric. Grandmother's Flower Garden pattern is one of the most beloved of all vintage quilt patterns! These old quilts can be found many places, but very few new ones are being made. A quilt like this could be a cheerful reminder of lovely flower gardens and a much needed lift during hard times. Note how well the light cream background print sets off the other fabrics. A delightful collection of cross-stitched flowers! They have a softness that can not be matched with printed fabrics. Golden touches with butterflies that make you feel like you're in a rose garden. Excellent cross stitching that is precise and uniform. Many hours of hand-embroidered work was put into this quilt!! Very well made in Lancaster by an Amish woman.

About as extravagant a true Amish quilt as you will find! Amish colors, all 100% cotton, nine-patch in nine-patch block, and an abundance of interesting quilting coupled with excellent piecework and fine stitching - Wow! Made by an Lancaster County Amish women. Border and pillow folds are Navy, corners are Burgundy, quilted squares in center of quilt are plum and sash is dark green. The back of the quilt is covered with a solid navy 100% cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot.
