WOW! A bright version of this very traditional classic quilt design. Amish colors, all 100 % cotton, nine-patch in nine-patch block, and an abundance of interesting quilting coupled with excellent piecework and fine stitching. Made by an Lancaster County Amish women who quilted ‘Lanc, PA’ in the bottom corner of the quilt. Border and pillow folds are Navy, corners are Burgundy, quilted squares in center of quilt are ‘paper bag’ (tan) and sash is dark green. All the quilting is done in navy so it shows up beautifully on the paper bag centers.

The back of the quilt is covered with a solid navy 100% cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.
