  • A delightful collection of cross-stitched flowers! They have a softness that can not be matched with printed fabrics. Golden touches with butterflies that make you feel like you're in a rose garden. Excellent cross stitching that is precise and uniform. Many hours of hand-embroidered work was put into this quilt!! Very well made in Lancaster by an Amish woman.
  • A surprisingly delicate applique quilt with lots of quilting. While not a Baltimore Album quilt, this one has a lot of its charming characteristics. The heart blocks also share some of the characteristics of a Country Bride quilt. Great applique work, nicely quilted. Note the applique work on the pillow fold.
  • One of a kind! 12 absolutely delightful applique and embroidered patches of Sunbonnet Sue, 1 for every month of the year. The embroidery is done entirely by hand and is exceptionally well done with tiny quilting stitches. Primitive school print sash and soft gold metallic border bring it all together. VERY well made by a Lancaster County, Pennsylvania Amish woman.  A real treasure! The back of the quilt is covered with a white on white 100% cotton star print fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.
