The combination of a very clean design by Judy Martin and interesting quilting makes this quilt special. Note how well the tulip block pattern is integrated with the lone star. Also note the extensive use of tulips along the borders. The selection of fabrics is very good — sometimes earth-tones come across as “muddy”, but not here!
