Pumpkin Log Cabin

A whimsical pumpkin with leaves and primitive stars set on circles are in the center of log cabin blocks in this warm fall quilt.  The traditonal log cabin pattern has always been a favorite of Karel's and the clever placement of light and dark logs create a pleasing background for the appliqué.  Small 1" logs have been used and give opportunity for many earth tone fabrics to be used which create a nice scrappy effect.  The floral border print is a perfect frame to finish the quilt and the appliqué and hand quilting are beautifully done in this fun quilt. A hanging sleeve and Karel's signature are included on the back of the quilt.
