Red, White, and blues in charming paisleys, stripes and floral fabrics are used for the log cabin blocks in this lovely small quilt. The placement of light and darks are artfully arranged to create the perfect frame for the hand-appliquéd blocks. Tulips and buds along with flowers have been used, note the outside flower centers have been fussy cut so a small star is in the circle. The fabric with clusters of flowers on a Swiss dot background fabric completes the look.
A hangin sleeve and Karel’s signature patch are included on the back of the quilt.

    Do you love pinwheels?  Here’s a great original design featuring pinwheels that use 8 different fabrics in them!     This happy small quilt was inspired by Karel’s love of butterflies in her garden during the summer.  The blue and yellow color scheme is reminicent of sunshine and the blue skies.  Morning Glories wind their way around the butterfly house and have hand embroidered  french knots in the center of each flower.  Friendship stars and 9-patch blocks are featured with a yellow butterfly flying amongst them.  The hand quilting and appliqué are expertly done in this cheerful quilt.

    A hanging sleeve along with Karel’s signature patch are included on the back.
