This simplicity of this pattern is squares set on point inside of  larger squares  that create this wonderful sofa throw quilt.  The use of light and dark fabrics enhances the pattern with black sashing that sets the blocks off.  The color scheme is classic with  the use of golds, blues, greens and reds with a green floral border that ties it all together.  The set in triangle blocks that frame the center feature a beautiful floral quilted design as well.  Whether it is folded at the foot of your bed or couch it’s ready to be cuddled up in.

Karel’s signature patch is included on the back of the quilt.

    Sawtooth stars  with cornerstone blocks have been set on point to create this patriotic small quilt.     Flowers and friendship stars go hand in hand in this original design by Karel.  Her triple signature border and corner squares surround the central floral design.  The floral fabric in the border has a vintage feel with small bouquets and is contrasted by the green checked inner border she used. A variation of the log cabin block works nicely in the corners against the stars and appliqué flowers.  Precise hand-quilting creates a diamond design in each of the triangles that surround the center, along with beautiful appliqué  and the color scheme includes, tan, red, green, and black.

    This happy small quilt was inspired by Karel’s love of butterflies in her garden during the summer.  The blue and yellow color scheme is reminicent of sunshine and the blue skies.  Morning Glories wind their way around the butterfly house and have hand embroidered  french knots in the center of each flower.  Friendship stars and 9-patch blocks are featured with a yellow butterfly flying amongst them.  The hand quilting and appliqué are expertly done in this cheerful quilt.

    A hanging sleeve along with Karel’s signature patch are included on the back.
