A Christmas wreath with a cute little cardinal are the center of this new quilt design. Look closely at all the hand embroidered pine needles tucked behind holly and berries in the wreath. Ribbon star blocks surround the wreath along with corner poinsettia and pinecone blocks. A checkerboard inner border highlights the center wreath design. The border fabric echos the motifs in the quilt set on a black background making this an elegant quilt to be enjoyed all winter long. A hanging sleeve and Karel’s signature patch are included on the back of the quilt.

    A graceful floral wreath is the focal point of this stunning small quilt.     Who doesn’t love a cute birdhouse in the summertime? A black eyed susan vine climbs up the post of this birdhouse while a white sheep stands along side.  Notice the sweet little heart being held in the sheep’s mouth and the butterfly that is flying in the center of the quilt.  The scrolling quilting design in the border seems to echo the climbing vine for a nice finish of this quilt.   Precise hand appliqué has been combined with the patchwork blocks in this lovely piece.
