The quilt is a beautiful combination of two favorite patterns from the past, Lone Star and Log Cabin. In the past these quilts were used just for warmth, but now they are valued for the beauty of individual choices of color and design. The fabrics are lovely shades of blue, tan and burgundy and the floral designs are rich and beautiful. Note the careful piecing and nice quilting. Perfect combination of a dark blue and tan! Notice the fabrics with the fine stars. Lovely feather quilting design around star points.
