In the past these quilts were used just for warmth, but now they are valued for the beauty of individual choices of color and design. The fabrics are lovely shades of blue, tan and burgundy and the floral designs are rich and beautiful. Note the careful piecing and nice quilting. Made in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania by a Mennonite woman and hand quilted by a Amish woman
