In the past these quilts were used just for warmth, but now they are valued for the beauty of individual choices of color and design. The fabrics are black, grey,and a lovely floral print with a touch of yellow. Note the careful piecing and nice quilting. Quilted by an Amish woman. Made in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania by a Mennonite woman.
