The quilt is a beautiful combination of two favorite patterns, the Lone Star and Log Cabin. In the past these quilts were used just for warmth, but now they are valued for the beauty of individual choices of color and design. The fabrics are black, grey,and a lovely floral print with a touch of yellow. Note the careful piecing and nice quilting. Quilted by an Amish woman. Made in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania by a Mennonite woman.

A lovely Double Wedding Ring quilt in Burgundy and Navy Blue prints.Very lovely bright fabric selections, a few prints have been replaced with prints very similar to prints shown. Background fabric is a fine tone on tone cream cotton print. Pieced and quilted by Amish woman. The back of the quilt is covered with a solid cream- white cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 80 linear inches of stitching per square foot. Very nice quilting, the stitching is good with about 6-7 stitches per inch.

A Wedding Ring is a classic design that has been a popular choice for many years. This quilt has a slight different twist as the one ring is dark and the intertwining one is tan. Beautiful quilting makes this a very lovely quilt that will certainly be treasured as a heirloom. Made here in Lancaster by a Mennonite woman and quilted by a Amish woman.
