Broken Star Compass

These colors are so neutral but so sharply put together.  This pattern is actually a broken star as you see the second row of piecing breaking into 3 points per center star.  And the inserts of the compass points make is so beautiful and almost a second pattern.  But with the 100% cotton fabrics all working nicely together, this combination is so striking.  It’s main colors are creams, black and tan and the backing is a pretty tan floral print.  The hand quilting stitches are 8 per inch.  It’s a beauty and I love it.
