This is an interesting log cabin pattern that has a burgundy diamond on the tip of the last row of each of  the log cabin blocks which then makes this into a star pattern.  Quilt making is a clever assortment of shapes that fit into each other when there is a skilled quilt piecer at work.  We are delighted with this pattern with it’s sharp coloring and practical fabrics.  They are 100% cotton prints and the backing is a gray tone on tone print shown on the one photo print.  The stitches are 8 stitcher per inch which makes a great quilt with exceptional workmanship.   Good sized king quilt.
