Gorgeous original design by C Jean Horst. Note how Jean has captured not only the shape of the poppy flowers, but the stems and leaves as well! Even the poppy coloring is similar to that of the poppies one sees in Flanders fields. The gold tones in the cream background fabric warms the whole quilt. The quilting between the poppies is equally attractive. Made here in Lancaster, quilted by an Amish woman. Copyright pattern — directions are unavailable.
