An intricate design that we have not seen before. Great bright coloring. Note that background fabric is a tone on tone cream white print with very faint tiny smudges of gold. Very well quilted and pieced too -- check out the quilted feathered border treatment. Made by an Amish woman in her own home. This quilt is symmetric and may be used sideways on a king size bed.

Dahlia quilts with their combination of patchwork and applique flowers like this one are very popular here in Lancaster. This quilt with its cheery blue and yellow fabrics, and its interesting fine quilting is especially nice. Note the attractive border treatment. Made by local Lancaster County Amish woman. A very charming Country Style quilt with a lovely collection of fabric prints, many plaid. Both the piecework and the applique work are well done. Also note the high quality of the quilting. Made in local Amish home.

The Center Diamond is one of the oldest Amish quilt designs. This quilt with its navy border, red diamond, dark purple fill, and green sash uses the classic Amish color scheme. Thin batting and abundant quilting give it both the look and feel of an antique quilt. Made in a local Amish home by an Amish woman who incorporated her initials in the quilting in the lower left corner of the quilt.

A pleasing combination of the Lone Star and Trip Around the World designs with fantastic prints in blue and pale yellow. The background is a fine tone on tone cream white cotton print. Excellent patchwork piecing and fine quilting by its local Amish maker.

This quilt has every thing that makes Lancaster quilts treasured around the world. Note the toothed borders and brilliant sash.
