Wow!! Amazing applique work, fantastic fabrics, and an abundance of quilting. Note the precision of the applique work and piecing. We have had a quilt nearly identical to this one on our bed for the last three years and it still delights us every day! Bound to be an heirloom.

A lovely quilt that features delicate hand done embroidery and applique along with beautiful patchwork. The butterflies seem to dance among the flowers! Lovely fabrics of pink and green with a black floral sash that brings it all together. Be sure to notice the special appliqued border. Hand quilting features 8 stitches per inch. Well made by an Amish woman in her Lancaster County, Pennsylvania home who also signed and dated it. The back of the quilt is covered with a solid off white 100% cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.
