  • A delightful collection of cross-stitched bluebirds and flowers! Cross Stitch quilts have a softness that can not be matched with printed fabrics. Makes you feel like you're watching bluebirds flittering around the dainty flowers. Excellent cross stitching that is precise and uniform. A soft blue border brings the quilt all together, and a dainty pillow throw tops off the quilt beautifully.  Many hours of hand-embroidered work was put into this quilt!! Very well made in Lancaster by an Amish woman who has decided to give 100% of the proceeds of this quilt to the poor overseas. The back of the quilt is covered with a blue leafy 100% cotton fabric. The quilting density is good, averaging about 100 linear inches of stitching per square foot. The hand quilting is wonderful with 8 tiny stitches per inch.

This quilt with its traditional cream white cotton muslin was made by one of Hannah's best quilters. Note the spectacular stitching. The Pineapple design and thin batting (that shows off the fine quilting) are very traditional. A quilt that takes months to make and is rarely available.

  • All quilted quilts with abundant quilting such as this one are the most treasured quilts. With fine stitching and more than four times the quilting found on a typical well-made quilt, these quilts take an extraordinary amount of time to make and consequently few are made. This one was made by a very experienced local Amish quilter. Covered with fine cotton cream white muslin. A quilt that you and your great-grandchildren will cherish!
