We love the elegant simplicity of this quilt. The hand quilting is abundant and incredibly well done. The quilt top was made by an Amish woman living in north eastern Indiana and the quilting was done by one of her Amish neighbors. Part of a collection she calls “Quilts Remembered”. A mesmerizing design! The bright and beautiful shades of red, pink and gold were well chosen to enhance the 3D effect. Notice all the tiny patchwork pieces. The hand quilting is excellent with tiny, neat stitches. The quilting design on the border is fantastic! A very special, one of a kind, top quality quilt. Made by an Amish woman from northeastern Indiana and quilted by an Amish neighbor. Includes a sleeve for a hanging rod. Would make a fantastic crib quilt, or even a Christmas quilt!
