Cardinal in the Cabin

A perky red Cardinal is at the center of this log cabin charming, Christmas quilt.  The log cabin blocks have been artfully arranged using lights and darks to create the backdrop for this festive holiday piece.  Hand appliquéd pinecones and hand embroidered pine needles add to the seasonal feeling as well.  Look closely at all the fun fabrics that Karel incorporates to create the logs for the blocks.  Small hand quilted stitches add to the beauty of this original design with small pine boughs and berries on the red border fabric. A hanging sleeve and Karel's signature patch are included on the back of the quilt.
