A Baltimore album wreath block is at the center of this quilt with the graceful wreath of flowers that wind around the center of the quilt.  Look closely at the fun tiny prints which were used in all the appliqué. The focus floral fabric with yellow background adds a pop of interest to the design.  The workmanship is beautiful in everything from the appliqué to the tiny quilt stitches.  Narrow borders in green, blue and red help to frame elements in the over all pattern along with a pretty green floral border that finishes the quilt beautifully.

A hanging tag and Karel’s signature tag are included on the back of the quilt.

    Sawtooth stars  with cornerstone blocks have been set on point to create this patriotic small quilt. Notice the gold hand-appliqué stars along with Old Glory that have been used around the outside set-in triangles. The finishing touch is the red “thank you” blocks in each corner making this a wonderful quilt for someone who has served our country. Outside red corner squares have the words “Old Glory” written on it. The whimsical striped binding gives it an extra flair and echos all the colors in the center of the quilt.     Five Dresden plates set on point are the focal point of this fine traditional quilt. The Dresden plates are machine pieced and then hand appliquéd to the background squares. They are  then framed by Karel’s signature triple border and corner squares. Cross-hatching has been hand-quilted on the set-in triangles to create a beautiful diamond design. Civil war reproduction fabrics have been chosen for the unique blue and brown color scheme and with so many different fabrics used it has a vintage feel.

    A hanging sleeve along with Karel’s signature patch are included on the back of this traditional quilt.
