This dear children’s quilt is the perfect gift for a new baby’s nursery or girl’s bedroom. The color palette is pinks and peachy pinks in a variety of prints for a scrappy quilted look. Look at the sweet little fawn in the center that was carefully hand appliquéd in such detail. There are pink flowers featured in the surrounding blocks that add a girly touch.     A graceful floral wreath is the focal point of this stunning small quilt.     Flowers and friendship stars go hand in hand along with a fabulous paisley border that was the inspiration for the color scheme in Karel’s original design.  Her signature triple border and corner squares surround her central floral design.  Note the use of just a touch of red stripped fabric that has been selected for a pop of color.   Precise hand-quilting creates a diamond design in each corner triangles.  Red, Blue and Ivory hint at classic Americana with touches of stars and stripes thrown in.

    A hanging sleeve along with Karel’s signature patch are included on the back of the quilt.
