    Here is a quilt just perfect for a smaller space in your home.     Flowers and friendship stars go hand in hand in this original design by Karel.  Her triple signature border and corner squares surround the central floral design.  The floral fabric in the border has a vintage feel with small bouquets and is contrasted by the green checked inner border she used. A variation of the log cabin block works nicely in the corners against the stars and appliqué flowers.  Precise hand-quilting creates a diamond design in each of the triangles that surround the center, along with beautiful appliqué  and the color scheme includes, tan, red, green, and black.
