Woodland critters are a popular nursery theme and inspired this fun child’s quilt. Done is tans and grays, the central block features a sweet little fox that is hand appliquéd.  The use of fabrics with leaves, twigs and geometric patterns makes this quilt appropriate for a boy or a girl’s nursery.  Hand quilted flowers fill in the background blocks and a fun fabric featuring little bears join in with the fox fabrics. Little fox is just waiting for a good home and can be hung on the wall or used as a child’s bank.

A hanging sleeve and Karel’s signature patch are included on the back of the quilt.

    Here is a quilt just perfect for a smaller space in your home.     The classic Whig Rose appliqué block has been used along with the 8-pointed star block in this design.  The clever placement of light and dark fabrics have created a unique, secondary border design that flows around the blocks .  A lovely floral design is hand-quilted in the other 4 blocks for contrast.  New England red, hunter green, mustard and navy with a touch of black make up this classic color scheme and look wonderful next to the tan and ivory background squares.  The hand quilting is tiny and precise and the appliqué is also beautifully done.
