Almost a Postage Stamp quilt, a original postage stamp has a finished 1 in. square, where this has a 1 1/2 in. finished square. A bright quilt with remnants from many colorful fabrics. Features fabrics that are current and from years gone by. This quilt has over 4,000 small squares in it . Precisely pieced by a Amish widow lady and quilted by another Amish woman.

Description

Definitely a Heirloom quilt, this is a very special quilt, no two quilts are the same. Very precisely pieced and each patch has quilting on it so it makes for many, many stitches, and about 7 stitches per inch. The back is a print cotton fabric.
