The light golden background fabrics are so beautiful and blend nicely with the beautiful pieced borders. Look closely and you will see that the border has borrowed 1/4 of the star parts from the center design to dance around its outside edges. The outer border is black and the inner is a beautiful burgundy. Magnificent design that is simply beautiful. 100% cotton fabrics in the entire quilt.
