This beautiful quilt has a very striking star in the central design and its neutral points in the star radiate out over the additional neutral points to give the star an almost splintered look. The ivory background fabrics are so beautiful and blend nicely with the beautiful pieced borders. Look closely and you will see that the border has borrowed 1/4 of the star parts from the center design to dance around its outside edges. The outer border is shades of tan and beige. Magnificent design that is simply beautiful. 100% cotton fabrics in the entire quilt. The hand-quilted stitches measure 8 stitches per inch. The backing of this quilt is also 100% cotton and is a beautiful deeper tan print. Pattern design by Dolores Yoder.
