This is a brand new quilt pattern for us and an imaculate display of hand quilting includes several types of feathers. Especially beautiful feather border design (see corner photo) dancing around the entire perimeter of the quilt. The neutrals on white are perfect for a calm and cool look. The fabrics are all 100 % cotton.

Tillie’s Treasures/Corn and Beans — Either name, this old, quaint pattern is certainly a beauty and somewhat unusual. The name Tillie is an old English name from the early 1900s. This pattern is done in half square triangles which follows the tradition of very old quilts. I love quilts that have a secondary design forming from the 4 light triangles coming together as neighbors and making a light square appearing to be set on the point even though the actual patch is square and set into the quilt top in a square placement. It appears to be a complex pattern and it’s stunning variegated coloring almost appears to shimmer. The fabrics are all 100% first quality cotton prints. The quilt is hand quilted with 8 tiny stitches per inch of thread. A practical beauty for any bedroom.

What a beautiful and unusual version of a Tumbling Blocks quilt pattern that has 6 star points around each of the 3- Dimensional looking blocks! Fantastic! It has been pieced by an Amish lady who just loves to do Tumbling Block pattern of all kinds on her treadle sewing machine. C Jean Horst has picked 100% quality quilters fabrics for the top and the backing. This is the first of it’s kind to be offered here and Jean loves arranging fabrics for different quilt patterns. In fact, she has been making quilts for 20 years and still loves it!!
